A Collaborative Endeavor
The idea for 'Wanting' grew slowly through some great conversations I had with friends and colleagues. I've come to realize just how many amazing perspectives and stories people in my network have to share!
While I’ve usually tackled projects on my own and found success, I now truly value the joy of working together with others. In these chats, I took on various roles like confidant, mentor, friend, life coach, and advisor, drawing from my rich experiences in law enforcement, entrepreneurship, and my background in real estate and mortgages.
This realization sparked a passion in me for gathering and sharing wonderful stories from all over the world!

How exactly will I accomplish this?
At this stage, I shared the concept with my friend Josh Gill, a contributor to this passion project. He affirmed that the idea was not only enjoyable but could also be beneficial to others in the process. With a viable concept in hand, I began to contemplate how to infuse it with my personal touch to create an engaging experience. It was essential to consider ways to invite others to contribute, as this initiative is fundamentally driven by passion.
Furthermore, the book would require a foreword, which I decided would also serve as an invitation, allowing readers to openly understand the collaborative process. I even sourced leather-bound journals that I had laser engraved, providing keepsakes for anyone I invited, whether they chose to participate or not.
May 2024 to Present
Gathering Stories
We are in a phase of waiting, even though we want things to move quickly. The leather journal invitations were a success. Kristy even said it felt like she was getting invited to Hogwarts. It’s always surprising how others will react to what you make.
My job in this amazing journey is to bring these stories together in a way that shows the experiences and insights of these remarkable people. Each story adds something special, making our shared storytelling richer.
